Terms of Service

Last updated: February 2026

By accessing or using Paaseo ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and Paaseo ("Company"). Your continued use of the Service after any modification to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Use of Service

Paaseo is a gate access management platform intended for use by registered housing societies, their residents, guards, and administrative staff. The Service is available only in India. You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Service for its intended purpose — managing gate access for your housing society.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate registration information (name, mobile number, unit).
  • Keep your account secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • Not attempt to reverse-engineer, circumvent, or tamper with QR codes, access tokens, or any security mechanism.
  • Not share your resident QR code with unauthorized persons.
  • Not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law in India.

4. Guest Passes and Staff Passes

When you create a guest pass or staff pass, you take responsibility for ensuring that the invited individual is authorized to enter your society. Paaseo provides the technical mechanism; the authorization decision is yours. Misuse of pass creation features (e.g., creating passes for blacklisted individuals by deception) is a violation of these Terms and may result in account suspension.

5. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of data as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Limitation of Liability

Paaseo provides the Service on an "as is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Paaseo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, unauthorized access to your premises, or service interruptions.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify society admins of material changes via the email or mobile number registered with their account. Continued use of the Service after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
